Mercury enters Scorpio today, and this isn't a quick little visit either. Because Mercury will retrograde in Scorpio later this fall, it remains in the sign until December 6. So September closes by opening a communication story we're going to be working with for more than two months.

Today Mercury walks into Scorpio and asks:

Okay. But why do you think what you think?

Mercury governs thinking, language, information, learning, questions, perception, and the way we process what we know. Scorpio isn't particularly interested in stopping at the first acceptable explanation. This is fixed water: observant, psychologically perceptive, private, persistent, intuitive, and willing to look underneath appearances.
