AMA Star Keepers Academy: Astrology Foundations is a structured 9-month astrology program for beginners and self-taught students who want to understand not only what astrological symbols mean, but how they work together in an actual chart.
No prior astrology experience is required.
The Academy builds from the foundations of astrology into chart interpretation and practical application. Studies include the zodiac, elements and modalities, planets, houses, aspects, natal chart interpretation, pattern recognition and synthesis, transits, planetary cycles, introductory forecasting, and responsible astrological practice.
Our approach draws from traditional astrology, modern and psychological astrology, archetypal and intuitive interpretation, and practical application and ethics.

The complete program includes 36 instructional weeks across nine months, with scheduled study breaks built into the Academy calendar.
Students receive structured Core Lessons, printable study materials, and Knowledge Checks to reinforce important concepts.
Optional Star Keeper Deep Dives are also included with Academy membership for students who want to explore selected subjects in greater depth.
Learning astrology is about more than knowing how to interpret symbols. A chart belongs to a person, and the way an astrologer communicates what they see matters.
Throughout the Academy, students learn about responsible interpretation, consent, confidentiality, boundaries, uncertainty, personal bias, and preserving the individual's right to make their own decisions.

Students who successfully fulfill the program requirements receive an AMA Star Keepers Academy Certificate of Completion in Astrology Foundations.
