HEAVENLY BODIES: Astrological Forecast for the week of September 7–13, 2026

Welcome to Heavenly Bodies, a new Monday-morning forecast from April Moon Astrology.

Every week, we're looking at what the hell is going on up there—and how it all works together down here.

Because astrology isn't just a list of isolated transits. The Moon changes signs. Planets change signs. Some slow down, some turn retrograde, and some form aspects that keep a celestial story moving for days.

It all connects.

As above, so below.

That's the philosophy behind Heavenly Bodies.

This isn't another horoscope. We're not telling each zodiac sign what's going to happen. We're stepping back and looking at the whole sky: the larger celestial weather we're all moving through together.

So grab your tea, read the leaves at the bottom if that's your thing, and let's see what the heavens are doing.

Good Morning, Wild Souls 🌼☘️

Find your missing keys, locate whatever piece of your sanity survived the weekend, and settle in. This week's forecast is mostly manageable with a significant chance of WHAT THE HELL on Thursday.

We're moving through Virgo season beneath a waning Moon, so the beginning of the week carries a clearing-out quality. Something is winding down before Thursday's Virgo New Moon resets the lunar cycle—and Thursday isn't exactly arriving quietly.

The Week Begins — Clearing the Deck

Monday starts with the Moon in Cancer before it enters Leo around 12:50 PM Eastern. Cancer pulls inward; Leo turns the lights back on.

That shift carries into Tuesday, when the Leo Moon brings a warmer, more expressive tone into a week otherwise dominated by practical Virgo energy. Virgo asks what could work better. Leo asks whether we're remembering to actually live while we're fixing it.

By Wednesday afternoon, the Moon moves into Virgo and starts closing in on Thursday night's New Moon. This is the cleanup phase.

Virgo isn't usually interested in dramatic reinvention. It notices what isn't working, adjusts the system, clears the clutter, and prepares the ground.

The timing matters because Venus and Mercury are both reaching the ends of their signs while Uranus prepares to station retrograde. Several pieces of the sky are sitting at transition points at once.

Wednesday is the hallway. Thursday opens every damn door.

Thursday - Celestial Weather Warning

Secure the patio furniture. Metaphorically speaking.

Thursday, September 10, brings four major celestial shifts.

Venus enters Scorpio at 4:07 AM Eastern. Venus leaves harmony-seeking Libra and moves into deeper Scorpio territory, shifting the astrological emphasis toward intimacy, trust, loyalty, shared values, and what lies beneath the surface.

Mercury enters Libra at 12:20 PM. Communication moves away from Virgo's analysis and toward balance, perspective, negotiation, and the relationship between one viewpoint and another.

Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini at 2:27 PM. Uranus is associated with disruption, innovation, awakening, and sudden shifts in perspective. Gemini deals heavily with information, communication, and ideas, making this another piece of the week's strong mental and communicative theme.

Then at 11:27 PM Eastern, the Sun and Moon meet in Virgo for the New Moon.

Four separate events? Technically. Four unrelated events? Not even close.

Venus changes the tone around values and relationships. Mercury changes the tone of communication. Uranus changes direction in communication-focused Gemini. Then Virgo resets the lunar cycle around discernment, habits, routines, and practical systems.

The common thread is reassessment and adjustment: what matters, how it's being communicated, what needs reconsidered, and what could simply work better.

That's what Heavenly Bodies is here to follow-not merely what's happening in the sky, but how the pieces talk to one another.

Thursday's forecast: Seek shelter from flying planets.

After the Shift

Friday arrives on the other side of the New Moon with Venus now in Scorpio, Mercury in Libra, and Uranus retrograde in Gemini.

These aren't one-hour events that disappear when the clock changes. They're movements into new phases, and Friday gives the week's new celestial landscape a chance to settle into place. By evening, the Moon moves into Libra, continuing the emphasis on balance, relationships, and communication.

Saturday brings an interesting Mercury combination. Mercury in Libra trines Pluto in Aquarius and then, less than an hour later, opposes Neptune in Aries.

Pluto digs beneath the surface. Neptune can blur the edges. Mercury is moving between both influences almost simultaneously. That's useful celestial weather for asking deeper questions, but not necessarily for assuming the first interpretation is the right one.

Saturday's forecast: Mental fog mixed with investigative lightning. Keep your facts somewhere dry.

Sunday keeps the communication theme alive as Mercury continues through Libra and begins connecting back into Uranus in Gemini. That's the thread running through the week: Thursday changes the landscape, Saturday complicates perception, and Sunday begins opening another door in the conversation.

This is why we don't read celestial movements like separate fortune cookies. They build on one another.

The Weekly Forecast

Monday: Emotional clouds clearing into Leo sunshine.
Tuesday: Warmer, brighter, slightly more dramatic.
Wednesday: Virgo cleanup crews arrive.
Thursday: Seek shelter from flying planets.
Friday: Clearing conditions. Let the new landscape settle.
Saturday: Mental fog with investigative lightning.
Sunday: Fresh ideas beginning to move through.

Blessings for the Week ahead.
