HEAVENLY BODIES: Astrological Forecast for the Week of October 5–11, 2026

The Celestial Movements Shaping Your Week

Good Morning, Wild Souls ๐ŸŒผ☘️

This week feels a little like the sky is clearing off the table and asking us to decide what deserves to stay.

We're moving toward a New Moon in Libra, but before we get there, Mercury and Venus revisit something from the past, Mars and Uranus open a different route forward, and Venus and Mars remind us that wanting harmony doesn't mean we're always going to want the same thing.

The interesting part?

None of those energies are working against the others. They're helping us figure out what balance actually looks like.

Monday — Start With the Heart

The Moon spends Monday in Leo, bringing warmth, creativity, pride, and a stronger desire to express ourselves.

The morning may feel slightly out of sync as the Moon challenges both Mercury and Venus. What we're thinking, what we're feeling, and what we're trying to communicate may not immediately line up.

But the day gets easier as it moves along.

Monday isn't asking us to have everything figured out. It's simply opening the week by reminding us that what matters to the heart deserves a place in the conversation too.

Tuesday — An Old Conversation Returns

Tuesday brings one of the week's most meaningful meetings when Mercury conjuncts retrograde Venus in Scorpio at 8:10 PM Eastern.

Mercury brings the words. Venus brings our values, relationships, desires, and sense of worth.

And because Venus is retrograde, she's looking backward before she moves forward.

This can bring an old conversation, feeling, relationship pattern, question, or realization back into view—not necessarily so we can repeat it, but so we can understand it differently.

Sometimes the past returns because there's something there we couldn't see the first time.

The Moon enters Virgo at 10:53 PM Eastern, shifting the emotional atmosphere toward sorting, organizing, and figuring out what to do with what we've learned.

Wednesday — Try Another Way

Wednesday morning, Mars in Leo sextiles Uranus in Gemini at 6:41 AM Eastern.

This is one of my favorite combinations of the week.

Mars wants movement. Uranus wants freedom, experimentation, and a different way of doing things.

Working together, they encourage action without insisting that we follow the same old route.

If something hasn't been working, this isn't necessarily the moment to push harder.

Maybe it's time to try differently.

Thursday — The Quiet Space

Thursday is quieter astrologically, with the Moon continuing through Virgo and spending much of the day void-of-course.

And honestly, that fits perfectly.

We've revisited something. We've considered another approach. Now we get a little breathing room before the weekend brings the week's biggest shift.

Not every pause needs to be filled.

Friday — Balance Comes Into Focus

The Moon enters Libra at 4:10 AM Eastern, bringing the week's central theme fully into view.

Libra looks for balance, fairness, cooperation, beauty, and connection—but genuine balance isn't the same thing as keeping everybody happy.

Sometimes balance requires adjustment.

Sometimes it requires honesty.

And sometimes it requires recognizing that peace built on ignoring what matters isn't really peace at all.

Saturday — A New Beginning in Libra

Saturday brings the centerpiece of our week.

The New Moon in Libra arrives at 11:50 AM Eastern at approximately 17°22′ Libra.

New Moons begin cycles. Libra asks what we want to create in the space between ourselves and others.

How do we cooperate without disappearing?

How do we listen without surrendering our own voice?

How do we build relationships where two people can stand beside one another without either one having to become smaller?

That's the invitation of this New Moon.

And then the sky adds an interesting little footnote.

At 5:31 PM Eastern, retrograde Venus in Scorpio squares Mars in Leo.

Venus asks what we value and desire. Mars asks what we're willing to do about it.

A square creates friction, but friction isn't punishment. It's movement waiting to happen.

Something may need adjusting so that what we want and how we're pursuing it can work together more honestly.

Sunday — Go Beneath the Surface

The Moon enters Scorpio at 11:21 AM Eastern, taking the emotional atmosphere deeper.

After Saturday's Libra New Moon asks us to consider balance and connection, Scorpio isn't particularly interested in leaving things at the polite surface level.

It wants honesty.

It wants to understand what's underneath our choices, relationships, reactions, and desires.

And maybe that's exactly where this week was leading us all along.

The Weekly Forecast

Monday: Give the heart a seat at the table.
Tuesday: Something from the past may make more sense the second time around.
Wednesday: Don't just push harder. Try another way.
Thursday: Leave a little room for the pause.
Friday: Consider what genuine balance looks like.
Saturday: The Libra New Moon opens a new chapter in how we relate, cooperate, and connect.
Sunday: Look beneath the surface. There's more to the story.

Blessings for the Week ahead.

P.S.
Apparently the planets have scheduled a relationship meeting. Nobody panic.
